Welcome to Genghis McCann
We are a Mongolian Rally team from Northern and Southern Ireland
This year we are building a Citroen 2cv which we are then going to drive to Mongolia and back using the toughest route possible.
The timescale for our trip is 3 months which will allow us time in UB to help Eamon with some work in the Christina Noble Ger village
Please note that charity rallies is committed to working with the mongolian people by bringing them vehicles which are useful to them or their charities, this is why some of the other teams are bringing jeeps and more appropriate vehicles, this does not necesarily mean they will get things easier as they will have different problems, it will be a lot easier talking your way out of a bribe if you look skint in a 2cv instead of in a jeep.
So how do we stay on the right side of the mongolian govt. we bring our rubbish home with us and that is the only time i will refer to the 2cv as rubbish
