Two students, a Skoda, and what little road there is between London and Mongolia. Hugh Taylor and Fred Ackrill are about to embark on an epic journey. This summer they will be driving across an entire continent, through 11 countries, to their final destination - Ulaanbataar. The capital city of Mongolia.
Their travels will be frought with danger, but these brave souls shall fight on relentlessly until they arrive, almost ten thousand miles away, at the finish line.
"Madness!" I hear you cry. Fear not, these kindred gentlemen are wise and cautious. They tread carefully as they delve into the unknown, as they trek across the unchartered lands and most dangerously of all - possibly try some of the local foods.
