NCH the childrens charity
we have two charities, for the North we have NCh, this is a charity which focuses on vulnerable children, this year is the year of the carer and NCh are very active in helping these children who are looking after sick relatives. The bulk of our work for NCH will be our school tour which will comprise of us taking our footage and if possible the car to local schools and using the interest to gain their attention for the charity, any money donated by the schools does not go towards our costs but straight to the charity.
Our Southern charity is the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation, this is a well known organisation which runs orphanages in Mongolia and Vietnam, in Ulanbataar the capital of Mongolia what strikes you is the number of street kids, as it is the coldest capital city in the world with temperatures regualarily belows -20 they live in the sewers as this is the only warm place, through their Ger village project the Christina Noble foundation not only help the residents in the project but also help families keep their children through sponsorship schemes and help with medical where possible, aside from the fundraising we aim to help bring this to people attention and will be volunteering to work for Eamon at the ger village on our arrival.
