Team50*North: Keeping the Legend Alive!!!A 1980 Mark III Ford Capri Ghia 2.0L Auto with a Burton Stage II Cylinder Head, a Burton Fast Road Camshaft, K&N Air Filter, Weber 40 Twin Choke Carb, performance big bore exhaust, 30% uprated/1" lowered suspension - we are talking Spax gas adjustable rear shocks, Leda front struts and leaf spring assisters here :-0 (all of this will be reversed by adding rally springs to lift this baby up in time for the Mongolia Rally); and right now she is running on RS3100 4 spoke alloys soon to be downgraded to Rostyle Steels :-( (which is another cosmetic downgrade but essential for The Official Mongolia Charity Rally 2009!). Other mods likely to occur will be a retro fit manual transmission, re-routed electrics and fluid/fuel pipes inside the car; plus bash plates to protect the underside stuff like diffs and other vulnerable bits; and importantly, more supportive and comfy seats!!!! In short, the existing Capri will undergo major surgery and emerge leaner, faster, harder and much better suited to the The Official Mongolia Charity Rally 2009. Bring it on!
