Charity Ralliers!

On Saturday 28th February 2009 from 3:00pm onwards we're holding a team get together, briefing session and reunion for all the teams on the rally last year. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask us questions or get top tips from previous ralliers.

Tsagaan Sar is the Mongolian New Year, so we have our special guest he Mongolian Ambassador, along with Mongolians from the UK association and reps from the charities we're supporting. There will also be Mongolian food and plenty to drink!

Sponsorship Opportunity

Every now and again we get offers of corporate sponsorship from companies wanting to contribute to a worthy cause and generate some buzz amongst staff and customers.

A company based in south-west of England is offering the chance for two lucky teams to kick-start fundraising and vehicle purchase through a pledge of sponsorship.  The generous package is intended to relieve some of the time and stress of initial fundraising to allow you to focus on making the most of the rally, whilst raising lots of money for Save the Children.

Vehicle Auction

The auction of the Vehicles for the Mongolia Charity Rally 2008 will be taking place in Mongolia shortly. As soon as the auction is complete we'll be putting the amount raised for every car on the site, and adding that to the grand totaliser. More details coming soon.

Riding Helmets for Child Jockeys

Go Help has today announced the first of the Charity Projects resulting from the collaboration of the CDPF and Go Help.

The Riding Helmets for Child Jockeys uses the profits from the Mongolia Charity Rally entry fees to improve the safety of child jockeys right across Mongolia. You can read more about the project, and see a 10 minute video on the project here.

Everyone at the Mongolia Charity Rally would like to congratulate JOHN PIRIE, of one of the Rally Charities: CAMDA who has been awarded with "FRIENDSHIP" medal by the edict of President of Mongolia for his dedication, hard work, generosity and kind contribution to the Mongolian Development, particularly to the nomadic community of Mongolia.
