Off road day

Hello there, please have a quick read through and let me know if you might be interested and I can take this forward.
We are looking to arrange an informal off road day/camping/navigation/ general get together type thing for Roof of the World teams and Mongolia teams. If there is a demand for it - we can arrange it!
The current suggestion and most likely way forward is us putting together something informally with a nice overlanding expert (called Sam) who runs events for the Royal Geographical Society. He has looked into organising a proper traditional overlanding event himself and found that insurance costs are horrible and thus suggested running something informal. His suggestion goes as follows:
'...... if you can get your guys together and everyone signs a form to say they wont sue anyone (!) then why dont we all go find a green lane somewhere, take the vehicles out, spend a day offroad in fairly gentle conditions, maybe have a night under canvas, throw in some camping skills, navigation etc. ' And the nice man is also offering to be an instructor.
Probable location:Yorkshire Moors - that would give us a day "in the wilds" with almost no costs.
