I was invited to join the team by Mike and I thought wow what a great thing to do and what an exoerience - I've never done anything so exciting before. After months of preparation a few weeks ago I had some more exciting news - I'm now going to be a mum - so I'm unable to go the whole way and will have to leave the team in Turkey where Laura will take my place - which is disappointing in one way but obviously great as well.

I'm a self employed gardener, tipi/yurt erecter and window cleaner! Previous jobs have been housing officer, technical customer services, car salesman and garden nursery owner. I'm slowly working my way down the career ladder:) I'm interested in green woodwork using a pole lathe, I make charcoal, have made a coracle and a yurt and keep pigs, chickens and sometimes other bits and bobs. I also produce a lot of our own veg and cook a lot. I play guitar badly and sing worse but am not shy in trying my best after a beer or 2.
