The Land Rover (newly named Betsy) is virtually ready to go, we just need to fit the roofrack, cut the boards for the back of the van to make a sleeping platform/load cover and do a few minor fettling jobs. We went for some off-road practice yesterday with Chris from Venture 4 x 4 and it was a real eye opener. I didn't know the capabilities of a Land Rover and to see her crawl up or down steep inclines on tickover only was incredible. I'm sure she'll be a very capable vehicle.
