A student is preparing to take part in a 10,000-mile rally from the UK to Mongolia to raise money for charity.
Luka Wright, a chemistry undergraduate at the University of Leicester, will set out on the adventure of a lifetime with two friends on July 10.
Starting in London at the Mongolian Naadam Festival, the fourth year student will drive thousands of miles through Russia and Kaszakhstan to reach the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar.
The rally is run by UK charity Go Help, and bosses are hoping to top last year's success when £60,726 was raised by the 36 groups who took part.
Luka said: "The Mongolia Charity Rally has a long history of success in delivering useful materials and vehicles to Mongolia and we hope to be a part of maintaining that. read more »
