Ricky Balboa aka Richard Reeves is crewing The Renegade Taxi because he felt like doing something different ... he often takes an alternative route in life, often by accident.  This means he doesn't generally fit into society ... he is in the kindest of descriptions an eccentric ... but in reality being poor ... mad would be a better description.  He has a diet which centres on the humble potato and long hair to keep his ears from causing unwarranted excursions into the lower atmosphere on a breezy day.  He is angry about the world, apparently it once trod on his toe and failed to apologise, furthermore it is infested with human beings ... these most unfortunate creatures are brought up by light emitting boxes which control all the desires in their lives ... this makes Ricky very sad, but also happy that he himself isn't quite human, one day he hopes his aliens parents will realise that they accidentally left him behind as an egg and will return to collect him ...
