8000 miles, 11 countries, 6 leaf springs, 2 spark plugs, a shock absorber and one incredible journey. We have just arrived in ulaan bataar thank you to everyone that has supported us its been an amazing adventure, Chris and Harry x x x

We are in mongolia! Drove 30 miles and snapped two more leaf springs! Its ok tho we have already found a guy who will fix it tomorrow using the parts we have already or some leafs from a trailor he has! Hopefully we will get to give him a hand with it just having supper in Olgii and will either camp or find a hotel. Chris and Harry x

Hello all we just witnessed a full solar eclipse in barnaul absolutely breathtaking got absolutely pitch black another fantastic moment from the rally that we will never forget. Happy birthday Mike! Chris and Harry x

Evening all. Just departing semey, driving toward the russian border but will not get there untill tomorrow so it will be another night under the stars! Had a good day in semey, some locals took us out for some lunch and then to the river for a swim, and all in exchange for a photo! All is good, H & C x

Swimming! Just had an afternoon of chilling on a beach with the remaining group of the convoy near balkash on the big lake in the middle of khazhakstan. Said goodbye to the mongol warriors and lance yesterday. Was nice to be able to have the afternoon off driving today. Planning on hitting semy next. H&C

Now in astana very rough roads lead us in though great fun unfortunately they lead to our previously cracked leaf springs on the front to split and finally snap we have already seen a toyta garage nearby to hopefully fit two new springs and get it on a ramp to check the remaining leaves for splitting. We miss you all certainly becoming more of an adventure the further we go but loving every challenge x

Eventful day! After a wonderful nights sleep the convoy prepared themselves for the next leg. Having driven no more than a mile through the city, the hilux started missfireing. After 2 hours spent after the bonnet we were forced 2 take her 2 a garage were after a further hour it problem of loose connections in the spark plugs had been fixed by the very welcoming locals. And how greatful chris and i were! Now relieved we are on the way to atobe. Just passed a road sign that says in perfect english 'good luck!' road not to bad at the moment, we shall see what is to come! All the best C & H x
