HI everyone

I dont know if its the same for everyone but after that journey, life just seems dull. Im now clean and the sand is out of my ears. But yet id give anything to be back out there on the road. Its true what people say travelling is adictive, its like a drug but this one just messes with your asspirations. I want more from my life now. So I suppose it begs the question whas going to be next, well I think I speak for everyone when i say id love to do the Mongolian rally again, with some fundamental changes, i.e. sponsorship and lots of it.

So id love to hear from people regarding what they think the rally has taught them about themselves, and where they see themselves going in the future as a result of this.

We're in Mongolia! Crossed the border about half hour ago. Huge difference from russia. Especially the roads which are pretty none existent.

We're in russia again. Took a while to got through the border, tidy like to take their time processing the paperwork and making fun of the English. We're now heading for Omsk on our way to the Mongolian border.

Lovely hot sunny day go Kazakstan. Although there were huge thunder storms that decend on us last night. So another night was spent sleeping go the vehicles. Roads in Kazakstan vary between excellent new ones and dirt tracks. Met a family that were driving from the uk to australia while we were stopped at the side of the road. Small world.

Spending tonight just on the russian side of the kazakstan border. Parked up in a field, set up camp, had some food and now to bed for tomorrow we enter kazakstan.

Welcome comrades. We've entered russia. After some fun at the border crossing we got in. Although we expected the fun to be in the form of thorough inspections and questioning, in fact it was a broken key go the ignition that needed sorting. Then we sailed through the border.

Stopped off for the night in kharkov just short of the russian border. Found a hotel for the night for a little bit of luxury after roughing it for the last few nights.
