En route home, sort off

Al, Stephen and I have no arrarrived in Seoul. We landed at around 6am and then took the train into town to find it full of policemen and the centre closed off, it would appear to be South Korean independence day and there's a huge party happening in the main square. We checked into a Best Western hotel which is going to be my last bed before going home, very strange.

Our last night in Mongolia was a great one, Mongolia won its first ever olympic gold, in Judo, and the whole town went crazy for it. When the guy won the bar we were in went absolutely crazy and people werecheering and dancing. On the road people were driving around hanging from car windows, on car roofs and all waving flags, cheering or generally being delighted with Mongolia. The main square was crowded and had fireworks and even a stage in front of the parliment building, the government came out to cheer on the stage with the crowd, madness but a really great way to leave the country.
