The Omega 3

Well it’s been a rollercoaster week!

It started off with getting news from the charity that we may have to pay an extra 3000USD to import the car into Mongolia. So, as you can imagine spirits were fairly low.

We concentrated on getting everything in order to go properly public. We got together in my living room and pressed the big ‘publish now’ button on our Facebook page. Then things exploded. 80 likes in just over 36 hours and many more to come! I’ve found myself busy writing blog posts for people and formal letters to institutions to get support. Spirits lifted!

Then yesterday we were told by the charity we may be get tax allowance as it’s a tax exempt vehicle in Ireland (Or something close to it!) But we may have to take out the third seat crossing the border. Not so great for my gluteus but I’ll take one for the team.

Today we got the best news in weeks, after reviewing the vehicle it looks like the Mongolian government will allow it through, tax free AND with the third seat. Our wallets (And my ass) are saved!
